I'll flesh out the characters and the plot lines which based on 3 parts. The later will be the Re:mote Girls leading the charge to Prince Lowzar's home planet. I also plan to do a draft of the webpages as well as work out the character appearances with the City of Heros program.

Interesting and creative idea, Mike! You've got a good setup, potentially interesting characters (I say potentially because they're still just archetypes right now, it's hard to judge until you write a script) and things are very simple and clear. (Always good for a audio drama.) I like how you worked the whole economic depression thing into it, and the reality show/entertainment aspects were also a creative touch you can do a lot with. (Have fake commercials during the show?) Just remember when you write the script that this is a non-visual medium (duh, I know, but still important to remember) so that means most of the anime-isms you know and love won't work (because anime is based off of visual principals) and this game is all about story, voice and acting. Yes, you can still make things anime-style, but don't expect it to come across the same way.
This guy has a very good oldschool anime sound in his productions.
Radioplay Contests has a good variety of shows you might want to listen to to hear different styles of productions. 9Give Dragonball Z-2 a listen, it's amazing how much like the show it is.)
