"All Cops Are Bastards" fully applies to the professional history of the main character: brutality, unlawful entry, destruction of property, etc.. An American who immigrated to Japan. Gets introduced to the idea of aliens, otherworlders, legendary/mythical creatures, and so on. Joins the Japanese equivalent to the Men in Black. Honestly, not the worst concept for a show the author could have used. Appears to be an international unit, too. Art style isn't bad. Turns into a sentai show at the end, complete with color coordinated costumes and codenames.
