Bad interview? ... midlife crisis? Maybe not your cup of tea but this short has it's own charm by taking the boy band idol formula ad turning it sideways.

I guess this has some potential. the idea of the fish out of water thrown a complete curve ball on everything can work, if done right. So far, there is the odd funny bit, but it doesnt really stand out for me. Maybe I'll give it the three episode treatment just to be sure.

Art style goes for the more realistic style, with more correct eye proportions and contemporary hairstyles. Backgrounds are detailed and each character is distinct in appearance. Plot is about the creation of a male idol group, using middle-aged men. The idea of a late game career change (especially into a wildly different profession like show business) is an interesting concept that is rarely explored either in the east or the west. First episode was enough to interest me in what happens, with the characters introducing themselves, and seeming like pretty normal dudes; nothing outlandish.
